ya im in japan...

...in my apartment...

...with my VERY OWN INTERNET ACCESS!!!    that i had to set up all on my own.  ie, i had to contact ntt and yahoobb on my own and arrange for the connections and crap.  hence why its been 5489758934789 yrs since ive dingled on the internets.  D:

anyway, im fine, japan's starting to be less cold, ive gotten sort of used to roodling at the jhs, though i could do without hearing yoroshiku onegaishimasu, (naninani)kamoshiranaikedo..., HARRO SENSEI, and especially otsukaresama deshita when i havent done anything...literally.

though the harro sensei isnt that annoying...its just i hear it about 50 times every time i step out of the teachers room.

so i hear it like 500 times a day.  every day.

this one kid keeps asking me about gundams, even though i told him ive only seen gundam wing.  i would say im happy he's trying to practice english, only he keeps asking me in japanese.

actually, a lot of the kids are like this.  once they found out i could understand (and kind of speak) their japanese, they get all butthurt if i dont respond to them in japanese or ask them to try telling me in english.  don't get me wrong... i love the kids--they're super adorable and hilarious, and it helps my japanese... but p.s. im there to roodle english, not practice my jp on them.  sometimes in my head, im just screaming THIS IS WHY YOU STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO TELL ME YR AGE EVEN THOUGH YOU'VE BEEN "learning" ENGLISH FOR 3 YEARS ARRRRRRRGH

also, i sorely miss clothes dryers.
